What fire alarm systems do we provide?

We supply, install, test and commission both Analogue and Addressable Fire Alarm Systems to IS3218-2009. We also install monitoring systems which, in the event of a fire, send an alarm signal to the alarm receiving center who will immediately contact the emergency services. Prior to installation of the fire alarm system we carry out a comprehensive fire risk assessment of the premises and based on the results we design a fire alarm system suitable for the protection of your premises that complies fill with fire regulations.

Should a fire accidentally break out, having a decent automatic fire detection system is essential to ensure the utmost of safety. Every second saved through early warning systems could make all the difference to the ability to recover from the damage caused. The systems we install provide the earliest possible warning of a developing emergency situation, which in turn, can facilitate safe and swift evacuation of people from your premises.

Looking after your smoke alarm

  • Once a week you should test each alarm by pressing the test button till the alarm sounds
  • Once a year change the battery (unless it’s a ten-year alarm)
  • Twice a year gently vacuum the smoke alarm using the soft-brush attachment to remove dust from the sensors
  • After 10 years it’s best to get a whole new alarm
